Statement of Faith

         We believe in a Triune God-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  God the Father is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible.  God the Son is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Savior, God come in the flesh.  He is the Living Word of God. He is fully God and fully Man, having been born of a virgin. Because of His great love for us He came to earth to take the punishment for our sins, to suffer and die, even death on a Roman cross only to defeat death and be resurrected  on the third day. He ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, the place of Authority.  God the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Teacher.  He empowers us and  gives us Gifts to enable us to do the work of the ministry in the same way that He empowered and worked through the Apostles in the early Church. We believe that God desires to communicate with man; that it is His intention to reveal Himself and His ways through the power of the Holy Spirit.

         We believe that the Holy Bible, is the infallible, inerrant Word of God which was written by man through the power and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It reveals God's nature and character, His laws, His relationship with mankind, the life and teachings of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and the life and ministry of the early Church. It is also the standard of faith and practice by which the life of the Church and the life of individuals is to be governed, and by which all traditions and revelations are to be judged.
